Well, as we come to the end of the camping season for so many, I reflect on the summer. We had so many great event weekends. If you think back, we had Cabin Fever, Spring Fling, all the holiday weekends, and Main Event Weekend ending with Fall Fest. We sometimes forget how much our Recreation staff does to keep us busy all season. There is still Trick or Treat and Trunk or Treat and the Boohaven Race the weekend of Oct 21-22.

The Woodhaven staff and Board continue to work all winter to prepare for our 2024 camping season. It takes a village (campground) to keep Woodhaven the great place it is, year after year.
I want to take a moment to thank all the volunteers who work so hard serving on our committees and board of review. They work hard all year and definitely make our staff ‘s and Board Of Directors’ jobs easier.

I also want to remind everyone, especially our newer lot Owners, to make sure if you don’t have winter water, to get your trailer winterized before the weather gets below freezing. I know it’s a sad time for all of us, but it is necessary to prevent damage to your trailer. If you don’t do it yourself, there are contractors on the list that can do it for you. The Contractors list can be found on the website, app, or in the Association Office.

I hope everyone has a safe fall and winter season. I am sure, like me, we are all looking forward to spring.
