Because leisure time is important, Woodhaven provides many services and amenities right on property for the convenience of our Property Owners and guests!
Need to Rent a Facility?
The ability to reserve facilities is just one of the privileges of property ownership at Woodhaven Lakes. There are 5 facilities that are available to reserve:
- Family Center
- Lakeview Building
- Section 6 Pavilion
- Large Outdoor Pavilion
These facilities are available only with permission from the Recreation Department.

Creation Station
In the Creation Station, there’s always something to make! We have tons of supplies and crafts to choose from! Check the Calendar of Events to see what you can create each day!
Forged Rock Adventure Golf
Up for a challenge? Our mini golf course has the perfect combination of difficulty and fun! 18 challenging holes with lots of water features and obstacles. Come as a group for a little friendly competition!
The RecPlex
The Q:
Equipment rental – in exchange for a property pass or activity pass, you can rent any of the following items:
- Basketballs
- Soccer balls
- Baseball/softball
- Kickballs
- Footballs
- Shuffleboard
- Tennis rackets and tennis balls
- Horseshoes
- Disc Golf Discs ($10 refundable deposit required)
Challenge a Friend!
We have many arcade games and skee-ball – challenge your friends for bragging rights or an ice cream!
The Ice Box:
Create a float with any combination of ice cream and Coke products you can dream of. Eighteen different flavors of hard dip ice cream, plus chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cream and a Coke fountain machine.
Real Estate Services
Woodhaven Lakes Realty, Inc. is a subsidiary of Woodhaven Association and lists and sells Woodhaven and residential properties.
Kids' Cove
The Kids’ Cove is an adjacent room in the Family Center for those 5 years old and younger.
Children will truly enjoy playing in our interactive, colorful playroom.
Family Center
The Family Center offers a wide variety of family recreation! You can choose a book to read in the “Library Room,” watch TV or a movie on the big screen in the “Media Room,” or put together a puzzle in the “Meeting Room.”
Want to rent a watercraft? Just visit the front desk at the Family Center! Rentals are $5 for 1/2 hour, and $8 for a full hour. We offer kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and rowboats.
Want to go swimming? The Beach and Pool II are both located near the Family Center. You can take a dip in the pool, sunbathe under the Sun Shelter, then step inside the air conditioned Family Center to cool off.

Bait Shop
A full-service bait shop is located on property in the Nature Center and is open seasonally. State fishing licenses are available at the bait shop along with live bait and tackle.
Nature Center
The Nature Center is open seasonally and houses the Northern Exposure Bait Shop. Seasonal programming, events, farmers markets, and wildlife displays take place within the Nature Center and outside the building in the Pavilion or garden area.
Lakeview Building
The Lakeview Building offers open floor space on the upper level with tables and chairs and a kitchen. The upper level deck offers a spectacular view of Black Oak Lake. The lower level is home to the Fitness Center and offers shower facilities within the bathrooms. Outside the lower level is a 30’ x 40’ foot cement patio with access from both levels.
Pavilion
The Pavilion is home to a variety of recreational activities from Bands, DJs and entertainment, to children’s activities and BINGO.
General Store, The Campstove Restaurant, and Woody’s Pizza Plus
Woody’s General Store is centrally located on property and offers general grocery items, fresh produce, pizza, beer, wine, and liquor. A fresh deli and bakery is located in the store.
The Campstove Restaurant, located in our General Store, is open seasonally and serves breakfast and lunch at very reasonable prices. Try our seasonal weekend breakfast buffet. Dine-in and carry out available.
Woody’s Pizza Plus is available within the General Store area and serves seasonally – serving single slices and whole pizzas.
Lottery is also available. Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.
Amphitheater
During the summer, the recreation staff shows a movie every Saturday night outdoors at the Amphitheater. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show!
Laundromat
A laundromat is available on-site with 11 commercial washers and 10 dryers. A spacious lounge is available within the laundromat with vending machines and free wireless internet access. Open 24 hours.

Woody's True Value
Woody’s True Value Hardware provides a full range of products and services including a gasoline station, lumberyard, bulk and bottled propane, equipment rentals, and trailer storage.
Additional Amenities
Comfort Stations
There are 14 different Comfort Stations located throughout Woodhaven. The Comfort Stations include shower facilities, toilets, sinks, and electricity.
Garbage & Recycling Disposal
Garbage Dumpsters are available at each Comfort Station throughout property. Please note there are many unacceptable items that are not permitted in dumpsters. Some of these items can be taken to the Maintenance dumpster compound (fees may apply). Recycling Containers are available at the Nature Center, CS 17, and the Maintenance Shop.
Church Services
The Chapel-in-the-Woods is available between Memorial Day and Labor Day at 10 a.m. on Sundays and provides outdoor non-denominational church services under our covered Pavilion. There are guest speakers or musical guests each weekend throughout the summer.
Banking
Banking services on property are provided by NuMark Credit Union. The branch is located at the front of the General Store facility, with an ATM outside.
Free Wireless Internet Access
Woodhaven provides free wireless internet access in several commercial locations throughout property. These locations include:
