Flag Dedication Ceremony

On Memorial Day Monday, Woodhaven will memorialize our country’s military service members. Join us at the Veterans Memorial Circle just outside of the Lakeview Building for this touching service beginning at 12 noon with the raising of flags. Veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm/ Shield, and Iraq/Afghanistan wars will represent the various military branches of the United States in the presentation of flags. Bring your worn and tattered American Flag and we will see to a proper disposal. This is the ultimate multi-generational family activity; take a ½ hour from this three-day weekend to teach our young that freedom is not free. We will also have a Veterans Memorial Wall display inside the Lakeview Building. This display will be available to look at all weekend, make sure to stop by and check it out.
