March 1st marked the beginning of meteorological spring, and that means Spring Fling and the official kick-off of the 2024 camping season is just around the corner!  This year’s theme is “Game On”, and staff have a full slate of entertainment and activities scheduled to make the season fun and memorable.  Woodhaven has so much to offer, from arts and crafts, live music, entertainment, petting zoos, open air markets, and seasonal celebrations.  Themed dinners, social groups, fishing and boating, disc and mini golf.  The list goes on and on.  What is your favorite activity?  Some of us like to be on the go, around the bustle of activity and crowds of people.  Others prefer the quiet and solitude of nature, staying far away from the crowds and off the beaten path.  No matter what you prefer Woodhaven has something to offer.  

As you return to WHL take time to notice the changes and improvements that took place over the winter.  The storm damaged Lakeside Building has been removed, and preliminary discussions are being held on potential uses for a new building, including moving the exercise equipment from the Lakeview Building.  If you have thoughts, ideas, or would like input on the project, fill out a Speak-up Sheet to let us know.  Additional improvements around the park include new gas tanks and pumps at the Service Center, new deli counter display cases in the General Store, and continuation of the street sign replacements.  

Woodhaven has so much to offer, we are blessed to be a part of a truly unique community that is our home away from home.  Looking forward to a great year!
