Woodhaven Lakes is a private, gated recreational property owner resort located in the heart of North Central Illinois, just two hours west of Chicago.
Two pools and a beach provide a great way for families to relax and cool off during the hot summer months. Our year-round recreation staff provides structured recreation programs and services throughout the year.
Wildlife is abundant at Woodhaven and it’s very common to see deer frolicking through the prairies during all seasons.
We believe you have to experience Woodhaven to fully understand what we can offer to you and your family. Clarke Mosquito will be applying a mosquito pre-hatch application this morning via helicopter - this is a pelleted, organic and non-toxic larvicide. The applications are directed at the designated low lying areas of Woodhaven property to prevent hatching of the larvae into adults. This is one part of the two part approach we make to lessen the mosquito population.

REMINDER - Landscape waste pickup is currently VACUUM ONLY until May 31. The Resource Department will not pick up bagged leaves/landscape waste (bagged/cold ashes will be picked up if indicated through sign up). As always, you are permitted to dispose of bagged landscape material at the Service Center during open hours, after checking in with staff.

we signed up for leaf pick up 3 weeks ago, but when we went out for spring fling, everyone still had piles of leaves everywhere
Day Camp will be held at the Rec Plex Multi-Purpose Room again this year! Day camp is held Tuesday–Thursday each week from June 9 to July 30th, from 9am–3pm.
Sign up is a bit different this year, with registration opening online at 9am on the Monday two weeks before each camp week. Full-week sign-ups only this year (no single-day registration), $35 per child. Once we hit capacity, we will close registration for that week.

Please make sure your camper brings a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, water, and a lunch each day (no peanuts or tree nuts please).
