Welcome to
WOODHAVEN LAKES
Woodhaven Lakes is a private, gated recreational property owner resort located in the heart of North Central Illinois, just two hours west of Chicago.
Our 1,756 acres of woodlands, lakes and prairies provide a spectacular natural setting for relaxing with family and friends. Woodhaven offers seven lakes for fishing. There are 15 miles of natural trails for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
Two pools and a beach provide a great way for families to relax and cool off during the hot summer months. Our year-round recreation staff provides structured recreation programs and services throughout the year.
Wildlife is abundant at Woodhaven and it’s very common to see deer frolicking through the prairies during all seasons.
We believe you have to experience Woodhaven to fully understand what we can offer to you and your family. Please take the time to browse through our website for more information or to look at a current list of our available properties. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a free tour of our property, please contact us!

2024 Memorial Tree Planting has begun!
We are so thankful to those who participated this year, and grateful to have a program in place that not only contributes to the reforestation of Woodhaven, but also memorializes so many of our loved ones who cherished their "happy place."
Memorial Trees have been planted along "Memorial Trail" at Pine Lake, and the designated common area in Section 29. Weather dependent, the Section 8/9 trail and Mike's Pond locations will be planted next week.
We look forward to continuing to GROW this program for many years to come!
