Woodhaven Lakes is a private, gated recreational property owner resort located in the heart of North Central Illinois, just two hours west of Chicago.
Our 1,756 acres of woodlands, lakes and prairies provide a spectacular natural setting for relaxing with family and friends. Woodhaven offers seven lakes for fishing. There are 15 miles of natural trails for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
Two pools and a beach provide a great way for families to relax and cool off during the hot summer months. Our year-round recreation staff provides structured recreation programs and services throughout the year.
Wildlife is abundant at Woodhaven and it’s very common to see deer frolicking through the prairies during all seasons.
We believe you have to experience Woodhaven to fully understand what we can offer to you and your family. Section 3 Water Update: The water repair in Section 3 is complete and water has been turned back on. However, this area of Section 3 will be under a boil order until further notice. Again, the affected area is Section 3, lots 112-138.

Water Shutoff in Section 3: Due to a water main break, water has been temporarily shut off in Section 3 for Wicker Tr, Hayerdale Cr and Hilltop Cr, affecting lots 112-138.

The Woodhaven Lake shoreline renovation is under way. Solitude is working hard on restoring the shoreline to prevent erosion from occurring. They are scheduled to be completed by the end of this week. The area that is being renovated spans from the boat rental to the corner by the Family Center playground.
