Things To Do at Woodhaven

I want to play

We have awesome activities every weekend through summer and into the fall for all to enjoy, young and old alike! Check out the Calendar of Events to see everything our Recreation staff has planned!

Want to make your own fun? You can start your own game on any of our sports courts – you can even rent sports equipment from the Rec Plex or Family Center!

If you’re more interested in indoor fun, you can visit The Q! Here you can play in the arcade, play ping pong, shoot a game of pool, or watch a movie! You can even grab a snack and some ice cream!

I want to swim

Woodhaven has two swimming pools and a beach for your aquatic enjoyment! You can check it all out on the Swimming Page!

I want to go to Day Camp!

Day Camp provides supervised fun for all participants from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays during the summer, from mid-June to early August. The Day Camp program will be based out of the Family Center with afternoon swimming at Pool 2.  Campers must bring their own sandwich – snacks, drinks, and dessert are provided. Craft projects, special guest appearances, sports and games, and much more! Cost per camper is $10/day or $25/week; 3rd (or more) sibling(s) will get a discounted rate.

Children must be between 6 and 12 years of age. Campers should wear tennis shoes and play clothes, and should also bring swimwear and a towel for afternoon swimming at Pool 2. They should bring and come already prepared with insect repellant and sunscreen each day. Watch the Leisure Times for more details!
