Part Time/Seasonal Positions
Woodhaven Association accepts seasonal applications from January 1 to June 30 each year. Below are three seasonal positions we are specifically hiring for the 2018 season (Click on each for a full job description)
- Recreation Program Manager – Plans, coordinates and implements recreation programs and special events, taking care to accommodate multiple age groups and interests. The Program Manager is directly responsible for four staff members but may have to coordinate multiple staff members and or volunteers for large scale events. The candidate must be comfortable conducting programs in front of large groups.
- Recreation Adult Staff Coordinator – Responsible for the operations and staffing of three Woodhaven facilities. The coordinator will also be responsible for program planning that takes place at these facilities and geared toward our adult population.
- Nature Center Coordinator – Develop Nature Center programs, activities, articles and displays. Also requires supervision of one subordinate.
The above positions average 40 hours per week during the season and some flexible off-season hours. The hours include nights, weekends and holidays.

Full Time Year-Round Positions
Public Safety Patrol Officer/Dispatcher – Full-time position, Midnight till 8:00 a.m. Responsibilities include patrolling the grounds and monitoring the buildings of Woodhaven and providing first aid services to our members. Also included is greeting property owners, monitoring alarms and surveillance cameras, answering phones, taking and delivering messages, issuing passes and taking payments. Computer experience is required and familiarity with CB and FM radio a plus. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Position requires a valid Illinois driver’s license and First Responder or EMT certification (training provided).
