Woodhaven Lakes is a private, gated recreational property owner resort located in the heart of North Central Illinois, just two hours west of Chicago.
Two pools and a beach provide a great way for families to relax and cool off during the hot summer months. Our year-round recreation staff provides structured recreation programs and services throughout the year.
Wildlife is abundant at Woodhaven and it’s very common to see deer frolicking through the prairies during all seasons.
We believe you have to experience Woodhaven to fully understand what we can offer to you and your family. Rick from Witness Distillery will be back July 25th for a tasting and informational classes!
Rick will be visiting the General Store to share his products and knowledge about the distilling business. Join us at 11 a.m. for a free tasting event. Classes will be held in the afternoon at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for $10 per person and include an appetizer spread of veggies, meat and cheese board, onion rings, fried cauliflower, and chips and salsa. Registration is required for the classes and limited to 50 per event.

Amboy Fire Department will be on property tomorrow (7/15) starting at 6:30 p.m. for training. They will be utilizing hydrants across property, so you may see equipment in several different areas during this time.

It's time for our 1st of 3 Woodhaven Facebook Scavenger Hunts of the year!
Property Owners and their guests will be led by a series of clues across property in search of a lucky coin! Clues will be released every hour, starting at 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. RIGHT HERE on our Facebook page. If you find the coin, return it to the Association Office to redeem your prize! If the coin is found before all of the clues are released, we will post that information and discontinue clues. This week’s prize pack includes 2026 Woodhaven Lakes Tin Tacker, a lava lamp, and a 90s trivia game! Stay tuned for the first clue at 10 a.m.!!!!!

We’re throwing it back to “Little Miss Woodhaven” but with a Twist! Participants will show off their skills in talent, questionnaire, and freestyle rounds, giving everyone a chance to shine in different ways. Whether it’s singing, dancing, acting, or answering fun and creative questions, this competition is all about celebrating young talent, confidence, and creativity.
